Language
Workshops, free activities and plenty of opportunities to practise Serbian and Cyrillic.
London · 6 March 2027
An afternoon in London where children can hear Serbian all around them, play, sing, make friends and feel that Serbian language belongs in their world too.
A family day full of workshops and traditional games. Children can learn their first kolo steps, try traditional skills and enjoy plenty of activities. With music, time together and delicious Serbian food, this is a day for the whole family you won’t want to miss.
Free entry · family registration is required. What to expect
Children and parents can join workshops, games, folklore and different activities, exploring language, customs and traditions together and finding the parts that interest them most.
Workshops, free activities and plenty of opportunities to practise Serbian and Cyrillic.
Traditional and new games, free activities and small challenges where children learn through movement and fun.
Accordion, singing and the first kolo steps — perhaps Moravac, perhaps Užičko, or simply: two forward, three on the spot, two back, and again.
From knitting and weaving to traditional skills and customs — traditions children can see and try for themselves.
Gibanica, cakes and familiar flavours — because no true Sabor is complete without good food.
A special trail through the Fair
Every child will receive their own Fair map and set off on a trail through different activities, workshops and corners. Each completed task earns a small reward or sticker, and children who complete enough challenges will receive a special prize for completing the Fair.
The full trail and programme will be announced closer to 6 March.
One place, many reasons to come
Games, workshops, folklore, language, tradition and little discoveries throughout the day — varied enough for every child to find something that draws them in.
While children take part in the programme, parents can meet other families, share experiences and discover carefully selected stallholders and small businesses from our region.
Showcase your products, meet new people and be part of a day that brings together families, creatives and small businesses from our wider community.
Stallholders
We will gradually introduce the stallholders joining the Fair — small businesses, creatives and brands from our region that you will be able to meet in person on 6 March.
